i've been listening to The Maine's christmas album. it reminds me of last december when it came out. i think i even posted about it last year. anywho, its so good. there's a song called "santa stole my girlfriend" and it has some of the funniest lyrics. its sad... but funny. here i'll post it.

what would we do without youtube? seriously. i'd probably go through withdrawals if youtube disappeared.

i can honestly say i'm addicted to concerts.

a couple nights ago, me and madi went to the every avenue/white tie affair/stereo skyline concert. it was really a last minute thing. but it was amazing! i'm in love with every avenue, so it was really cool to see them play alot of their songs (instead of just one song, at warped tour haha). stereo skyline is also extremely good. i only knew 2 of the white tie affair's songs, but they were very good live! also good performers. i'm actually listening to some more of their songs right now. and runner runner was another band there, and they were very cool :)

so anyways, this was a really fun concert! we talked to runner runner's merch guy for a long time. he was cool, and there was definitely a love connection between him and madi ;) ha. i kinda freaked out the drummer of stereo skyline though, i think. we saw him walk into the bathroom, and i really wanted a picture with him. so we sat outside the bathroom waiting for him (or at least thats what it looked like) and when he came out i made a huge fool of myself and said "i'm not stalking you or waiting outside of the bathroom for you or anything, but can i get a picture with you?" something like that. he was probably thinking (freak alert). haha, just kidding, he was really nice :) i love his band. dave from every avenue was really sweet too.

i am going to marry someone in a band. its just destined to be that way.

sad, sad day.

monday night, we went to smiths to get our tickets for the all time low/friday night boys/hey monday/we the kings concert. turns out, all the tickets were gone and its sold out. no bueno. the concert is tonight, and it'll be starting in about an hour and fifteen minutes. :(

i sent a message to the friday night boys (who are my favorite out of the four bands) on monday, telling them how sad i was that it was sold out. they wrote back and said they were going to see what was up with their guestlist in utah, to see what they could do. that made me reeeeally happy. so i wrote back last night and asked what they were going to do, but they haven't read that message yet. sooo basically, i'm sitting here at my house while all these very fortunate people are going to be seeing four very great bands. oh shucks. there's always next time though.

i had a reeeeally weird dream last night. and here is what happened...

so me and madi went back to the high school for some assembly. and we're sitting there, and the big film projector screen comes down. so i'm expecting a movie to come on or something, but no. my blog popped up on the screen! so everyone in the school was looking at my blog.. and i was like "NOOOO!" then, they took my blog off, and madi's popped up! madi was like "what the crap..." and the only thing on her blog were pictures from our california jonas concert two years ago. except the pictures were mostly just of me. it was really strange. she was only in like three pictures.

so, yeah. very weird dream.

but it gave me an amazing idea! i'm gonna do a new post pretty soon with pictures from all the jonas concerts i've been to :) so stay tuned foooools.

good joke, i know. thanks to laffy taffy wrappers, and danielle. anywayyss, we put our christmas tree up yesterday. and we put all the lights on it today. it seriously looks like its glowing. i think its tiiiight. i know its "too early" to put up christmas decorations and whatnot, but this is absolutely normal for my house. ahhh, i'm so excited for christmas :)

you can interpret this however you like. the way i look at it, is that its important to never settle for less than what we deserve. it sounds easy.. but people do it allll the time. so next time someone offers you a pet goldfish, say "heck no, i want a dang shark you cheesehead!"

i just changed the name of my blog. guitargooroo is soooo 2007. haha, i actually just really don't like the name anymore. after all, i did make this account when i was 15. so i decided to get rid of it.

but then i couldn't think of what to change it to. and then, the image of my pink rainboots upstairs in my closet popped into my head, and BAM! ilovemyrainboots.blogspot.com was born.

so, yesterday my mom and i were randomly talking about sweat

for some reason. i honestly can't remember what brought it up..

but it was funny. and then we figured out something

really awesome. when you say, "its wet." the 's' in the word 'its'

kinda drags to the word 'wet'. so when you say it fast, its like

"itswet." can you hear the word 'sweat' in that? "itsweat"

haha. so we were wondering if thats how they made up the word

'sweat'. yeahh. if you know the answer to this, feel free to let me

know. hahaha.

i start my new job on monday. woot woot! i have my own name tag and everything.

holy crap. i'm officially a huge ginormous slacker. i need to quit leaving yearly gaps between my blog posts. haha, i'm going to improve. starting now.

soo, its been a year.. and i'm pretty positive it would take the rest of my life to fill you in on everything that has happened since my last post. to sum it all up: pretty much everything has changed. its so crazy to look back to last year, because so much is different. remember how people told you "you won't even be friends with your friends when you get out of high school?" well yeah. i didn't believe it either. but its very very true. (in one case). i'm still friends with most of my friends, but then there's those few who i'm not even associated with now. but there's one simple explanation for that! people change. its just how it is, and you can't fight other people's battles.

there are going to be people who are worth your time, and people who aren't. the ones who are worth your time are the ones you should keep close with. and there is your advice for the day :) haha. so winter is coming up.

i'm so excited to go sledding, and drink hot chocolate, and watch christmas movies. ahhh. christmastime is the greatest time of year! well, this is a pretty pointless blog post. but i needed to post SOMETHING. since its been freakin forever.
