reasons to be happy.

1) first semester of college is done.
2) summer is basically at my fingertips.
3) today was "wear an unusually large bow or flower in your hair" day. haha.
4) momma's peanut butter bars.
5) new ipod on my doorstep this week.
6) the fact that the backstreet boys are coming to concert this summer.
7) doing headstands before your homework helps you think clearer.
8) discovered some great new music.
9) eating breakfast at midnight is the best.
10) no work til thursday.

do it now.

I came across a post by one of my blogger friends a few days ago, and he truly inspired me. He explained that we can't just sit around and dream about things we want to happen. Well, we can, but it's not going to get us anywhere unless we take action. I don't mean to say there's anything wrong with dreaming, because quite frankly it's a great thing. It's a huge part of my life actually. But his post made me realize I shouldn't be overthinking or second guessing things. If i want to do something, I should do it. Today. Because seriously guys, I'm not sure if you're aware of this but.. we're not going to live forever. Props to Kid in the Front Row.

The folks I admire
come from all different places.
They don't have famous names
or familiar faces.

They're not Hollywood stars
on the big silver screen,
so you won't see them smiling
in a slick magazine.

They don't live in big mansions
or drive fancy cars.
Their faces are weathered;
you might see some scars.

They've overcome pain
and life's bumps and bruises,
They know how to laugh,
and they don't make excuses.

They're just everyday people,
but what sets them apart
is how they treat others
and the LOVE in their heart.

The folks I admire
are folks just like you.
'cause the folks I admire
are folks God admires too.

just spilling some thoughts.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
i don't care what people think, but i don't like making a bad impression on people. i guess that means i kind of do care what people think. i don't understand global warming very much, but i do care about the environment. i don't like doing homework, and i definitely do horrible on lots of assignments, but i still try. and i'm still learning. i don't always know the right thing to do, but i make a good guess. i'm not sure where i'll be in ten years, but i'm a dang good dreamer. i rarely play my songs for anyone besides myself, and i'm pretty okay with that. i believe in forgiveness, but i definitely hold grudges sometimes. i don't trust that many people, but i do give out chances. i try not to stress myself out too much, but i do over-analyze things, which stresses me out. sometimes i forget to tell the people i care about how much i love them, but they really do mean a lot to me. i don't consider myself a shy person. sometimes there's just so many thoughts going on in my head that i forget to talk. i've got a lot on my mind right now.

hmmm. what's on your mind?

Five things i liked about this movie.
1) There were so many parts that just touched my heart.
2) It never got boring.
3) Besides Will being suuuuper attractive, he treated Ronny like a girl should be treated.
4) Ronny is a vegetarian, which actually made me think Miley Cyrus was cool for a second. (haha)
5) The sea turtles were stinking cute.

Now I think its time for these amazing love stories that we see in movies to start happening in real life.
