a lot of simple things in the world get bypassed way too often.

so i just wanted to say thanks to a few little things...

thank you, light bulbs.

thank you, chapstick.

thank you, guitar picks.

thank you, shoelaces.

thank you, pencil sharpener.

thank you, curtains.

thank you, soap.

thank you, doorknob.

thank you, hair tie.

thank you, alarm clock.

movie monday.

when i woke up today i was so excited. the reason for my excitement?

i remembered i had recorded Tru Confessions on my DVR.

you know when you love a movie as a kid and then totally forget about it? and eight years later you come across it on your TV guide, and totally flip out? yeah. that's what happened.

after watching it i thought of two things. 1) i miss the days when disney channel actually made good movies. 2) shia lebeouf is an incredible actor.

he plays a mentally handicapped boy, whose sister makes a film about his life. sure it's a little cheesey (i mean it WAS 2002!) but it's quite touching :)

that could be cool.

when i was a young'n i devised a plan. my plan was to grow up and have a lemonade shop on the beach, in california, with 100 different flavors of lemonade.

there would be live music outside my shop all day long, with people playing their guitars. beach-goers would just be kickin' back, sippin on some cotton-candy flavored lemonade.

this was one of my many ideas as a kid. but hey, it could still happen! maybe i'll just switch it to a beach near seattle. then when i'm not working as a weatherwoman, i can sell lemonade. that could be cool.
