Simply having a wonderful Christmastime.

Wow, what a crazy few weeks it's been. School, school, school. Work, work, work. Where's the play, play, play? All I can say is I am so stoked it's Christmas break. And after passing Math 1010 the second time around, I am filled with even more joy. YES.

I just wanted to do a post on what Christmas means to me. Cheesy? Yes. Lame? Yes. But I don't care. I just love Christmas! It's funny because Christmas Day isn't even my favorite part. It's the family, and happiness, and Christmas movie marathons, and hot chocolate, and sledding, and going out of your way to be nice to people you usually don't talk to, and playing Christmas music in the car, in the house, in your headphones. Heck, playing Christmas music everywhere! and giving lose change to the man ringing the bell outside the store, and thinking about Jesus, and spending more time with my parents and brothers, and drinking eggnog.

THAT is what Christmas means to me. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I hope everyone is having a good Christmastime. :)

I like tonight.

Tonight consisted of..
A long nap.
Putting up Christmas decorations.
Season finale of The Buried Life.
Cosmic brownies.
Belle and Sebastian.
And a nice warm, long bubblebath.

short and simple.

I don't want to sit around and
hope
good things will happen.
I want to
make
them happen.
I want to be in control of my own destiny.

Thank you, Drew Barrymore.

Plan A.

Utah is so weird. You'd think after living here my whole entire life I would know everything about it. But really I don't. You'd think I'd know everything about the over-powering religion here. But I don't. Also, it seems that I would be stoked about snowboarding, considering I live in a state where it snows half the year. But.. I don't snowboard.

It's decided. I'm going to school in the spring, but I'm taking next fall off. I know it's a long ways away, but I need some time away from this state. I need to see things outside of Utah.

cold november.

It snowed today, and then it melted. So I started celebrating Christmas. Don't worry, this is a usual thing in my family. I will proudly state that I listened to Christmas music in my apartment all. Day. Long.
